Why do many people to think all Wiccans are teenagers only?
It occurred to me that many people thnk Wicca is something in adolescents. In all my experience with the Wiccans I have met very few teen Wiccans. Most are in their 30's, 40's. In addition, many people are under the assumption that all Wiccans are either children or Goth severely obese and unattractive. I'm 30, better educated, occupation, and (if I do say so myself) quite attractive. so what's the deal?
Merry Meet all inclusive I would like to add my reviews in this issue. As it is not really a right or wrong answer, unless someone was interviewing the entire population think this way for a response. I think because of TV and movies showing "witches" that the young generation, and most of the time as "goth" the general population has created this stereotype. I followed the path of Wicca for about 10 years now, and I met all ages Wiccans from 10 to 80 + years. I also met many young self-proclaimed Wiccans, who are more Goth teenagers trying to cash in on the factor shock that they are witches, and adds that the stereotype people have created. Many people claim they are Wiccans, but do not follow the path, kinda like the Catholics:) Well, unless all the Wiccans out of the broom closet, no precise statistics available someday.
