How to remove ink stains from white cotton / polyester tote bag?

I have a white tote bag, which seems be a canvas-y thick material. The tag says it is 100% cotton shell and 100% polyester finish. Ink stains it blue a are in the back, outside of the bag. And there are ink spots on a handheld than on the inside. I tried to throw in the wash, and using Tide-to-Go on it but the stains will not disappear. They are old enough, ideas on how to remove them? Thank you! Btw, if it allows the tag says not to bleach.

I always took the warning to not bleach Do not bleach say on a regular basis. Cotton / poly can be laundered, just do it gently.
