Witches Wicca

Is there a correlation between the real witch / Cate Tiernan Wicca and Sweep Balefire and series?
I read both series and I am Now curious about how well they correspond with the real world. I know they are classified as fiction, but it does not seem to be some truth to them, such as Wicca and the Rede Sabbats Wicca. I wonder if there is something else from these books that is true about this religion.
I read the Sweep series. She obviously did some research, knew anything about Wicca and incorporated. The Wiccan Rede and the Sabbaths … tools … this is about where the similarity ends. There is no witch clans, Wicca is only 60 to 70 years (at best), there no evidence of any cult Witch underground survivor, you were not born a Wiccan (it's a religion, not a power), the type of Morgan special effects magic does not exist, the types of Wiccans spell the "real" (the book) Cast not exist, no board of witches or authority over the Wiccan / witch, there is no great battle between the "white" and "black" magic, not to build a good vs. bad etc. I always thought the series "Circle of 3" was actually closer to real witchcraft (though of course, be of fiction and trying to entertain people, there is a little more supernatural than the average Wiccans would find in his / her life).
