I read a lot about Reiki and meditate a bit in recent weeks, but I feel like I'm missing something. I do not really know what I do without little education, and so far I have not really met anyone who is willing to teach me something without paying them an arm and a leg first. Reiki initiations are not generally without payment of the class / initiation is considered a type of exchange energy. Given your age and life situation, I suggest you concentrate on learning meditation techniques and find which of them works best for you. Good practice of meditation is an excellent basis for future personal spiritual growth. Resources for learning different meditation techniques should also be much much cheaper.
