Dashboard Jesus just bobbing along
proselytizing to pothole rhythms.
Reminding viewers with his bobbing visage
he’s current, relevant and can keep a beat.
Mother Mary speeds the other way
‘shawled’ in blues and whites, her pious mode.
With her downcast eyes and upturned hands she’s prays,
“Spiritus sanctum” on the dashboard altar.
The Rosary car pulls alongside,
shining beads with silver cross attached,
hanging from the rearview mirror’s metal’s perch
with ubiquitous tassel- Class of 02.
God does send his greetings in many odd ways,
sometimes even with dose of humor… bobbing!

No amount of disbelieve in God seems to block his messages at times.
A dash of Jesus every now & then is alright by me.
