Reiki Session

During a recent reiki session, my head was very hot. I am now getting a lot of headaches. Anyone know why?
I did not have a headache problem before this. The practioner said that it felt like all the energy in my body was trying to rush out through my head. I did receive some very positive benefits from the session.
Without knowing where exactly what is hurting this is only a guess. Assuming it is between your eyes. It would be the third eye chakra and it is usually associated with the pituitary gland. That glad has chemical properties close to DMT, a hallucinogen. The third eye is concerned with spiritual things and is also associated with the color purple. Anyways, if the head ache is more of a throbbing there it could mean some important life changes are going happen. This has been my experience when that happens.
