Hunting pellets domed vs. hollow point?

I have a 900 fps FWB 124 Sport in 0177. I use Beeman Silver Jets-sharp pellets. They are not on facts, not more, but has a Beeman Silver Arrow to replace them. I took a raccoon £ 28 @ 15 meters with a bullet head. I do not get the same penetration with hollow points or pellet-shaped dome. You have to do some penetration tests with pellets of different in your specific gun. Get a little ballistic putty (sealed lead) or gel and measuring the penetration of different pellets. You can also see the expansion of each pellet. It depends a lot on what you are hunting too.
