How to change the voltage to apply?
Hello, I need to regulate the feeding apparatus. I the device connected to a lamp dimmer and it works fine, but the drive gets hot and I'm sure it is not designed for that. There is a "voltage variable device available, but they are very bulky .. BASICALLY I connect it to a distance – I can then change the "speed" of the device from a few meters further to do. Any help or suggestions on what I can use this kit or electronic / device I can plug in this work. Thank you
Instead of a lamp dimmer, try a dimmer ceiling fan. They are designed for motor loads while a lamp dimmer is designed for resistive loads. You did not say what the device, but it is possible you exceed the rated drive. You can buy inverters of higher power, up to 2000 watts.
